There were 2211 finishers at the 2008 IRONMAN CANADA
Jane placed 8th in a field of 110 and 563 overall. Paul placed 74th in a field of 246 and 695 overall. Paul came out of the 2.4 mile swim in 1:12:03 and Jane 1:22:27. Jane's 112 mile bike time was 6:07:58 and Paul's was 6:12:14. Paul ran a 4:24:19 marathon and his total overall time was 11:57:03 . Jane placed 2nd in her division with a 26.2 mile marathon time of 3:55:50 and her total overall time was 11:40:29. GREAT JOB and CONGRATULATIONS to both of you. 2009 event will take place in Penticton BC in August. |
